I understand that there are many guides to choose from when booking a fishing trip in Oregon. That is why I would like to take a minute to introduce myself and the other excellent guides that I work with. Over the last few years I have had the opportunity to meet and work with a few guides who share my ideas about what a guided trip should entail. We all share a love of guiding (not just fishing), a diverse set of techniques and the knowledge of when to apply them, and a deep understanding of the waters that we fish. Knowing where to find fish is only half of being a good guide, keeping the trip fun and entertaining while you do it is equally important. When you book a trip with Castaway Guide Service you can rest assured that you have booked with a guide who will make your day a success.

Hello my name is Adam McNamara and I am the owner of Castaway Guide Service. I started my business about seven years ago to share my love of fishing with others. As a full time guide it is my privilege to look forward to going to work every day to do something that I love. I have been an avid outdoors person all my life and grew up hunting, hiking, and fishing in many amazing places in this great state and many others. However more than anything else I am and always will be a fishing junkie, as a toddler of about two my parents had to lock the sliding glass door of our house to keep me from wandering down to the Tillamook River, snoopy pole in hand, to catch bullhead. As I grew a little older my attention turned to more sporting fish and my desire to catch a steelhead started bordering on an obsession. I managed to catch my first steelhead on my own when I was about ten and managed several more in the next year including one on a fly. All through grade school and high-school the Molalla was my home river and as soon as I could drive I started to take trips to the Clackamas and Tillamook area streams. I currently live in Newberg Oregon and spend my whole year guiding many of the best waters that this state has to offer from The North Coast in the winter and spring to the Deschutes river in the summer and fall I am lucky enough to have some truly amazing water for my office.
See you on the river

| Rob Crandall- Associate guide owner of Water Time Outfitters |
|
Rob Crandall has been guiding clients for Trout and Steelhead for 17 years. Growing up along the Clackamas river gave Rob plenty of time to practice the art of catching Trout and Steelhead when he was young and as he got older he quickly made the transition from fisherman to guide.Rob is currently a BLM permit holder for the wild and scenic lower Deschutes river. In hooking up with Rob I was lucky enough to not only learn from his vast knowledge of this amazing river and its fantastic fish but be able to offer my clients a trip that they could rave about. Rob runs a first class business specializing in multi-day outfitter trips in some of the less accessible sections of the river. In his off season from the Deschutes Rob can still be found fishing and guiding on his home waters of the Clackamas river. Rest assured if you book a multi boat trip with us around the Portland area it will most likely be his smiling face you see.

| Nathan Cornelius- Associate Guide and owner of North Coast Angling |
|
Nathan Cornelius grew up in the small coastal community of Newport Oregon. Like the rest of us he quickly realized that he could translate his love of fishing and the outdoors into a career as a guide. Guiding has given Nate a chance to enjoy fishing in some unbelievable locations as he has spent 12 summers as a guide in some of the best waters Alaska has to offer and 4 winters experiencing some of South Americas amazing trout fishing as a guide in Chile. Approximately four years ago Nate returned home to Newport Oregon to start his own guide business fishing for Salmon, Steelhead, and Trout. Almost without fail Nate will be the guide who I turn to for help when I need another boat on the Oregon Coast.
